A Meridian Press project has a written scope, dated milestones, approval gates and a named specialist responsible for each stage. This page shows exactly how that works before you commit to anything.
What we take on
Most engagements are one of these, or a combination of them running to a single schedule.
Lifecycle
No stage begins before the previous one is approved in writing.
Phase 01
You send the manuscript details and the markets you have in mind. An editor reads before anyone quotes a price.
Phase 02
We issue a scope document: deliverables, responsibilities, timeline and cost. Nothing begins until you have it in writing.
Phase 03
Editorial, translation, design or audio work runs against the agreed schedule, with a named contact for the whole project.
Phase 04
You sign off structural edits, cover, typeset proofs and audio samples. No stage moves forward on assumption.
Phase 05
Files are delivered to print, digital and audio channels with metadata prepared for discovery in each territory.
Phase 06
Royalty and availability reporting on a fixed schedule, followed by a review of what to do differently on the next title.
Live board
Updated by the desk leading each project. Confidential engagements are shown only through their private client link.

Deliverables
Concrete outputs, each one something you can open, read or check.
Accountability
You always know who is doing the work, and you can email them directly.

Questions
The questions authors ask us first.
With a reading, not a quote. Send the manuscript details through the contact page and an editor responds with an honest assessment within two business days.
No. We take on projects we believe we can deliver well, and we say so plainly when a book is not right for us or not ready yet.
The author retains copyright. Any licence we ask for is described in the scope document, limited in territory and term, and explained in plain language before signature.
Yes. Signed-in clients follow status, documents and messages inside the client portal, and every project has a named contact you can email directly.
It depends on length, language pairs and formats. Every scope carries dated milestones, and we tell you early if a date is at risk rather than after it slips.
Next step
Tell us about the book, the languages and the markets. We reply with a reading and a written scope, not a sales pitch.
