Verified authors, partners and clients can publish their experience here. Every review is moderated, dated and attributed, and none of them are written by us.
Introduction
Feedback worth trusting has to be checkable
The publishing services industry has a testimonial problem: anonymous praise, stock photographs and quotations nobody can trace. We would rather have fewer reviews that a reader can actually verify.
Reviews here come from signed-in accounts, are checked against a real working relationship where we can establish one, and are published with a date and a name or a clearly marked initial. Critical reviews are published alongside positive ones.
Existing testimonials collected before this system are kept on the testimonials page and labelled by source, so you can tell the difference between a verified submission and an earlier quotation.

How it works
Moderation, in the open
Step one
Submission
You submit from a signed-in account. Anonymous submissions are not published.
Step two
Spam and abuse screening
Automated checks for link spam and abuse, then a human read.
Step three
Verification
We attempt to match the account to a project record and label the review accordingly.
Step four
Publication or reply
Approved reviews are published with a date. Where we reject one, we tell the author why.
In practice
What we will and will not do
We publish criticism
A negative review that is accurate and civil is published. Removing it would make the positive ones worthless.
We never write reviews
No staff-authored reviews, no incentivised reviews, no reviews traded for discounts.
We reject abuse
Personal attacks, defamatory claims and material about third parties who cannot respond are not published.
We allow withdrawal
You can ask for your own review to be removed at any time, no explanation needed.
What you can rely on
Reporting and correction
Report a review
Anyone can report a review as inaccurate or abusive; reports are read within five working days.
Right of reply
Where a review makes a factual claim we dispute, we reply publicly rather than deleting it.
Timestamps stay
Reviews are dated and edits are marked. We do not quietly refresh old praise.
No selective display
The list is not filtered to show only the best. Sorting is by date.

Do I need an account to submit a review?
Yes. Verified sign-in is what makes the review meaningful, and it lets you withdraw it later.
Can I review under initials?
Yes. Ask for initials or first-name-only and we will publish it that way, still labelled with its verification level.
How long until my review appears?
Usually within five working days, longer if verification needs a check with the project team.
What happened to the older testimonials?
They remain on the testimonials page, labelled as legacy so their provenance is clear.
